Vans projects virtual walls onto buildings and gives Gen Z the tools to create their own identity specific stickers allowing them to redefine what “the wall” is and finally see themselves on it.
Gen Z doesn’t shy away from the wall, they strive to completely do away with the old one and redefine what society looks like for them.
Gen Z makes their own rules completely doing away with norms that don’t serve them. With the “Redefined Designs” virtual stickers, Vans wearers can creatively express themselves in a way that speaks to the cultural rebellion of the famous “Off the Wall” concept while decidedly changing how we see the walls of institutions.
We add a new landing page in our Vans App where people can create their stickers and foster community discourse and experiences through their designs.
Vans will project virtual walls onto the existing walls of institutions so people can virtually “Pokemon throw” their Redefined Designs onto the walls allowing users to see their stances IRL in a way that means something in the world they’re going to inherit.
